HTC is better, my take. Own G4 and HTC One

I don't own the device either I just know those answers from being on the forums at nauseum. Yes the screen is not as good in sunlight but many people either don't have a problem or they must likely tilt the screen away from the sun. I think this is something you need to test yourself as everyone has a difference experience. I use the Note II and the display is not as bright as the GS4 and I don't have problems with sunlight when my brightness is cranked up but many others do.

Yeah, but tilting the screen isn't an option when you are trying to frame the photo, or assess what your photo is going to look like.

I didn't say it was. I was just saying that some people use it that ways and others don't have that problem. Maybe find someone with the device and try it for yourself.

No it's not better because it's subjective and a matter of individual taste.

Whereas the S3 was complete unreadable in bright sunlight the S4 is greatly improved and even in bright South Florida sun I have no trouble seeing the screen even with sunglasses on. I wouldnt let that be a factor in your decision.

That's right Madlaw, polish that turd, lol. Weren't you just saying how the stuttering and lag isn't really a problem, because some people won't notice?

You're really trying to tell a prospective buyer that the display shouldn't impact his decision if he cares about use in full daylight? Come on man.

You appear to be suffering from a serious case of ihopeipickedtherightphoneimmablasttheforumwithantionecraptoreassuremyself-itis.

eh, he has been doing for weeks, even before launch.

WOW Mello Asian, I am a salesman with about 2000 contacts in my phone. Using the One is just easier to see in the bright daylight, has 32 gigs of memory and very easy for me to use. As for school, either would be great phones. There is no science behind my like of the One over the G4, just feel of the UI and more memory is nice. Go to the store and look at both and then decide. Wish that I could be of more help. I will likely switch sim cards between the G4 and the One from time to time but the ONE will be my daily driver.
