HTC m8 camera vs. Nexus 5 camera

I'm interested in getting the M8 and I was wondering is the camera any better than the nexus 5

I've not used a Nexus 5, but there are a few threads here about the HTC One m8 camera. I'd suggest reviewing them. Some people seem to not rate the camera of the HTC too highly.

In honesty, if there was a phone camera I would without reservation prefer the M8 over, the Nexus 5 would be on that list.
