HTC might have ONE me over

I am in a way. I like the look of the one but understand that the same physical size holds a smaller screen and less battery life.
The battery capacities are different-- but are the talk/screen times different? These phones both have different power management systems and with the larger screen on the s4, I can't see it having a longer talk/screen time than the One. Does anyone have actual numbers for comparison? Outside of battery capacity, that is?

Some of the reviews did extensive battery tests especially in comparison to the SGS4. In one of the reviews I saw the One did better, but they were close.

It should be noted that this was not final software running on the SGS4 though.

That's what I thought. It's probably going to end up being a tie for battery life, so I wouldn't make that a deal breaker unless you want a removable battery... but then the choice is obvious.

There's nothing too credible out right now because the S4 hasn't been released yet and the S4 that was tested was running on unfinished software, but the S4 had 13 more minutes talk time while the One had 76 more minutes of web browsing time. The S4 had more standby time overall though.
