HTC One 2 (M8)

Matthew. Thank you for the picture. Do you think you could ask if the phone uses a micro or nano sim? Also which leak looks like here phone? The leak with the black bezel at the bottom with the HTC logo or today's leak with out the HTC logo on the black bezel? Also are you in the States or else where?

Sorry I didn't speak to her at all since she was on the phone the entire time on a headset. From what I remember the black htc leak is a fake. The real snap shots of the silver body with the black bezel and htc on it is the real one, although I could've gotten that black bezel confused with the on screen button bar. Since she was holding the phone by the bottom when she walked on, I think I remember seeing that black bezel. But the screen looked massive (not like phablet) but more like the size of a G2.

That's amazing that you noticed it. How all does it differ from the current One or One Max in looks?

I noticed it because when she walked on the train she was holding it to her chest and I saw the dual camera lenses. That's what confirmed it for me it was the M8. It basically looks like it's in between the One and the One Max. The leaked snap shots of the silver M8 recently, that's exactly how it looks.

I did notice that green background in the sense blinkfeed. I guess that's the default? I only got a couple quick glimpse of her screen. I have a Nexus 5 and the screen looked bigger or could've been the thinner bezel that makes the overall screen look bigger. I could be wrong but like I said it looked like size wise comparable to the G2

Too bad we know that big azz bezel on the bottom is still there and your picture doesn't reflect that. If it was gone I would be happy with onscreen buttons, but keeping the bezel and making the buttons on screen is a no go.

I wonder what that bezel is all about when all the buttons are on the screen? I don't like the color either and if that ugly color is the only one I sure won't have it to consider. I will only consider color BLACK maybe just maybe a dark blue such as the SIII had or darker.

It'll have multiple colors so there is no need to worry about color in that department.

However, the black bar is the most useless thing I've seen on a flagship in awhile. Unless it serves some gimmicky software feature, what is the point of it? It takes up so much real estate + the on screen buttons would take up even more, just how LONG is the phone going to be to match up to its predecessor in screen real estate? HTC should go with the decision in the initial picture, however, it is probably too late.

The all new HTC One is launching 2 weeks after the 25th event in 110 countries around the world. Big thanks to @MHielal

Does anyone know if the new m8 will have simultaneous voice and data ? If it does not, I'll just keep my Evo 4g LTE. I hope they give Sprint their new EVO and call it the EVONE!

Depends on the carrier, every new tmobile device since last year has it.

Just in time for my 4/9 birthday! Yay! I love reading about this phone and seeing pictures. Can't wait to get it. :-)

I did like the voice+data on my Evo LTE. Dumb to get rid of that option.

As much add I liked the Evo line I would rather not have an Evo branded One. Much better putting out one device for all 4 carriers in my opinion. Updates seem to be coming along regularly with this philosophy adapted by htc

My Verizon One also has it. Can't imagine they'd go backwards on this.

I had the EVO 4GLTE which had it but I didn't get good 4G back then neither. Now with the One I have 4G in most places and can do both on my one. I can't wait for this phone to come out.

I'm the opposite. My evo LTE had much better reception
