HTC One Black, Aluminum edges wearing to silver.

All condescension aside, I think the Zagg full body protector can be considered a full body skin. I think you may have interpreted the post too narrowly.

Did you use the Zagg cover?

Yes I did.

I've posted in other threads about this concern. I am within my 14 days of returning, think the Silver would be a better way to avoid this? Or I can always keep a sharpie around. :)

Does your service charge the restocking fee? If you plan on actually using the phone naked, I suggest going silver. I'm using the double dip flip case, so it allows me to show off a bit ;) The black is extremely susceptible to scratches. I doubt the sharpie will match the anodized black look once your phone begins to wear.

I have it in the Poetic case right now. I try to use the really slim cases that offer some grip. I've had to use the sharpie on my Iphone 5 a couple of times.

I think you'll be fine.. If you're toting it around in your jeans, its going to rub the color away. The Poetic cases are nice, and seem to give amazing coverage. Well.. I'm sure I'll be doing the Sharpie test in another few months when I get tired of keeping my replacement in a case.

In all honestly, I don't want to take a chance getting a white one to discover I have bad pixels or some other issue.

Mine is doing the same thing, This is the second one they have sent me in 3 months. This one is only 3 weeks old. Both started chipping after a few days.Fault1.jpgfault2.jpg
