Htc One Browsing History Problem

Ok so I have found a problem, whenever I clear the browsing data on google chrome on my HTC One it will clear just fine, but if I double click the home button to end Google Chrome and I go back into it the browsing data will still be there. Any solutions to permantly deleting the browsing history or I have to never end Google Chrome?

Sorry, ignore this thread as I have figured out the solution just now. For you that do not know you go to settings>apps>google chrome> clear cache
