HTC One Camera Pictures: Show us what you got :D

Re: HTC One Camera Pictures : Show us what you got :D

You also have to realize that when uploading a picture to almost any site they get compressed

Taken outside in the shade. Love how the colors pop.

HTC One vs Nexus 4 at 8:30pm. Yes, there's noise, but it's night time with just street lights as lighting. I think you can tell which is from which camera. Just shot both on normal settings with no post processing, handheld.

I am really starting to like the camera. In fact I think the pics are better than my iPhone 5.

Nice shots. I am amazed that it can provide such a shallow depth of field. Really makes the pictures look good, like the headphone shot.

For what it's worth from someone on another HTC phone with an (I think) still quite impressive camera in it's own right (don't diss the Rezzie now!)..I'd suggest turning down the sharpness one or even two notches in the camera settings (assuming the new Sense software still has that option). HTC's post processing can be a bit too aggressive and turning the sharpness down *may* help a bit with noise control.

I'm really loving this camera. Can't help to post more pictures.... meanwhile Pocket-Lint totally trashed the camera in its review. :(

Amazing shots.

Care to provide some tips on getting such good results?

And I visited the Pocket Lint site - first of all, the site is unuseable in chrome. Is this supposed to be a tech site? Had to dig out fire fox to even navigate the site.

Once there, I saw a lot claims that 4mp just doesn't have enough resolution to take good pictures. Your examples prove that to be total BS. There seems to be a total lack of recognition among some reviewers that the things they like, Zoes, high frame rates, etc, just aren't possible with a 13mp phone camera. The made a statement that they should have used 8mp and larger pixels. What are they smoking? This is a phone. Where are they going to stuff 8 ultrapixels and the lens hardware to pull that off?

There were some decent comments about dynamic range and menu setup which I agree with. A rating of 2.5 out of 5 is ridiculous.
