If you don't have the AT&T model, Google to find the correct one. Ruuing is pretty simple. If your bootloader is unlocked, relock it. Hook up the phone to your PC with fastboot and debugging turned on and just run the file.

I was having the exact same problem and just solved it by clearing the credentials. I see that you tried this but I figured it might be worth a second look. The first thing I did though was to remove the FoxFi (what was causing me the problem) Device Administrator in the Security > Device Administrator. That alone didn't seem to do it, but when I then cleared the certificates, the option to select "none" came back.

I had Foxfi app too and it made me enter a pin for some reason. Cleared credentials and none appears for me too. Thanks!!!

I deleted all of my vpns because of u do u have to have a lock code when u have vpns
