HTC One compatible MHL adapter?

Does anyone have experience with an MHL adapter that works with the HTC One?

I had a generic MHL adapter that works with an HTC One S, but it does not work with my HTC One. When I plug it in, my phone starts to get warm and it will reboot itself. I get no picture on the tv.

I have a Samsung MHL adapter and it works.
I also had a generic one i got off Amazon and it worked but i gave it away.

I bought one MHL cable i was told would work.. It connects then immediately disconnects giving me an error of " Beats audio is available over HDMI connections" never connects to the tv.. i have restarted the phone a couple of times and changed the HDMI slot on the tv. just keeps connecting then dropping.. not even a flash of anything on my tV.
