HTC One for Verizon

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I believe WCDMA is UMTS. It is not the same as the CDMA Sprint and Verizon use. I think you would have better luck buying a Sprint M7 at full price and getting it unlocked, not sure if VZW operates LTE at 1900Mhz though.

I can site specific examples to back up my claim. Gay marriage is the most recent issue to come to mind. It wasn't all that long ago that even democrats from red states opposed it as anti-family. Now republicans from red states support it. That didn't happen via big corporations making campaign contributions. That happened because politicians realized the growing popular support for gay marriage necessitated them reversing their positions or facing being voted out of office.

Blind cynicism isn't cute.
I live in DC, our local news is your national news. I see this stuff every day and I play close attention. I'm not saying that public outcry is never heard, but it's rare.

There's nothing blind about my cynicism.

That is exactly why. In the stores they tell you that the DNA and the One are the same phone.

Branded as a Droid.

'DNA is the same as one."
Different CPU, slightly smaller screen, different materials, camera.
Verizon is full of it, aren`t they?

This is why I can't wait for the world to move to universal LTE. Each phone would be a global phone, and have access to LTE bands around the world, all integrated into one radio.

In the Android-world, the Xperia V, Z, and ZL probably offer the best coverage, but the US and China are left out. Overall, though, the i5 CDMA version probably hits the most markets currently.
