Hey Guys!
I've a problem with my HTC One. The phone was perfect till yesterday. If I listen to music via speakers, it is very good no problem. But If I plug in my headset (or headphone), only the headset's left part give me sound, the right part is silent, doesn't do anything. Did you meet with this problem? Can you suggesst me a setting or something? I don't know what happened, I didn't do anything.

Thanks.

It sounds like an issue with the headset rather than the phone. Have you tried another headset?

Sure I tried. I tried with the basic HTC headset, and with my Beats headphone too. In my car I have AUX slot. The car's speakers do this too.

I have the same exact problem my headset was completely fine and I love my headset big time. I just put in my backpack as I always do. Then I took em out normally after a few hours and then the left headset is almost muted. For absolutely no reason. I tried another headset they were fine but what the hell ?? :C

Make sure they're fully plugged in. Partially plugged in will cut out one channel.

My headphone jack died all together, really sucked. HTC repaired it though it took nearly 10 days. Then I got it back and they somehow have managed to bork the standard phone mic, so back to them it goes. Hopefully they can fix the mic they screwed up without breaking anything else.

The basic troubleshooting steps are:

1) Try different devices plugged into the jack
2) Try using Bluetooth and see if you get stereo
3) Backup and reset to factory default

If you still get issues after a factory reset then it's broken and will need to be repaired/replaced.
