HTC One: Help meh :$ Can't install supersu or rom zips from recovery

I just unlocked my bootloader and installed cwm recovery (still s-on) and I can't install the supersu binaries from the supersu app or from recovery. I also can't install any roms from recovery. Any help would be appreciated

So you have done the following?

1.Drag the supersu.zip into your phone.

2.Boot into recovery.

3. Flash supersu.zip?

I highly recommend you replace CWM with TWRP.

Just flashed and tried with twrp it just says installation failed

Did you by chance enable signature check for zips

I tried without it and this is what I get:

Does it matter that my phone is S-ON?

No that shouldn't matter.Have you thought about flashing a stock rooted rom which would give you root. It seems something isn't right. I would re-install the recovery and i recommend twrp, or are you still on twrp.

Flash the recovery again. But erase your recovery partitions first.

Do the following command: "fastboot erase recovery"

Then flash TWRP again. Also make sure that the recovery you are flashing is made for your phone.
