HTC One - Is there a way to switch between the most recent 2 apps?

Hi,

Switching between apps is something I do a lot. I double tap the home button and then select the app that's one before last many times. Is there a way to do this much faster?

Maybe some way to use two fingers to flip between these 2 apps? It would be a huge productivity boost for me.

Not with stock Sense. Using a third party launcher like Nova could allow you to set up a gesture to launch an app.

Thanks, but I need it to switch the last 2 apps, can it be only done for launching apps? Because even though I know some apps just bring to front when you re-launch them, others just start brand new which is not good, as I want to continue where I left off, since I didn't close the app.

Though custom launchers still seem good.
