HTC one love hate

I love the HTC one ! It is clearly one of the best phones ever made. I love blink feed, sense 5 , the front speakers, aluminum body and zoe.

What I hate is the disappointing camera! It is clearly overhyped. Picture quality usually sucks with little detail. If this phone had the s 4's camera it would be perfect. Hopefully the m8 ( HTC one 2014 ) will fix this .
Any thoughts?

You possibly have a defective one, because I've seen the HTC One's camera up close and personal, and it's far better than what you're describing.

I put my DNA up to the one and the whites were brighter! The one took a better picture than my DNA.
