I am in downtown LA (just across the freeway from downtown actually), and regardless of the displayed signal strength, the download speeds are very disappointing (less than what I used to get with WIMAX). So far, it ranges between 1 - 3 Mbps only... While I am not asking for 20+, I would like something more... Grrrr.... Sprint, why o why?? ;)

In fully deployed areas I've seen screenshots of 30 download....be patient....My area is the same, shows 4G but don't have the speeds to prove it, but my area hasn't been announced as having LTE yet

In Seattle on Sprint, Ive only been able to get LTE in one place (it hasnt been announced for Seattle yet) But check out these speeds I was getting. (The bottom three results). And the top one is my wifi I get, Granted thats at microsoft but the LTE speeds are faster than my wifi at home!

Re: HTC One LTE Speeds

I ditched Sprint for ATT because they never got good 4G coverage here in Silicon Valley over the 2 years I owned my EVO 3D. I just tested my One and really can't believe these results.

Probably want to specify your network in the title because my Att speeds are blazing.

Re: HTC One LTE Speeds

ive had horrible speeds throughout LA too. averaging around 8 up/down. the most ive ever gotten was 20/10 but that was just for a few minutes. no matter where i go i can never get more than 2 bars of signal strength.

Re: HTC One LTE Speeds

Depending on where I am in Tampa I can get anywhere from 1mb down to 35mb down. It varies wildly but this isn't an official market yet.

Expect 1-5 Mbps on average, depending on location. Signal quality and speeds drop dramatically in relative short distances from the towers. Those 20+ speeds are deceiving.

I wouldn't say that really. I've hit 24 before but my average around Jacksonville it's 10+ Mbit down always... And Jacksonville is huge (land wise) so I am more than sure I wasn't right next to a tower always :P.
