htc one m7 I have a very strange problem My touch screen goes mad

My home button does like (button stacking)- (like u press in 1000 times, but i dont do anything on the telephone) to fix this i have to lock and unlock the phone , it fixes and goes again after 2-3 min. The telephone hve fell on the ground , but some ppl say its software problem. i dont really know what to do, please help .

Try a Factory Reset, and if that does not fix it, take it to a repairer. But if there is bad physical damage, the repair may not be worth doing.
