What's the difference between regular m8 and gpe model

Yeah, it's just those little black specks. You can feel that there's a scratch there when you rub your finger over it. It's easy to see in person but tough to pick up with a camera.

I'm just super anal, especially when I fork out over $700 for a phone.

Ya I def see it on one of my corners also. Hmmmm I wonder if anyone else if seeing that also on there's.

I'm starting to assume it's just a result of manufacturing. Kind of sucks a little, but I'm returning mine and getting another one. If they're both that way, then I'll just deal with it. Not the biggest issue in the world. This is otherwise a perfect phone for me.

Can't they send you one and then you send the old one back? Like a adv replacement?

This is easier when I'm still in the return window. Not like my Nexus 5 can't hold up a little while longer.

The GPE is about 99% stock Android and doesn't have HTC's Sense installed.

Just an FYI, I got the new GPE M8 today (had it overnighted yesterday) and it doesn't have any of the scuff marks that the first one had. If it bothers you like it did me, I'd call them and get a new one sent out. That's too much money to have it come scuffed a little bit out of the box.

What I did was just order another and then return the first one. We are all still within the original 15 day return window, so that was easier than doing an RMA. No issues whatsoever.
