Will the Google Play Edition of the M8 work flawlessly with T-mobile?

Here are the specs from Androidcentral:

GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900
WCDMA: 850/AWS/1900/2100 with HSPA+ up to 21Mbps

Here are the specs from Google Play

Network
Unlocked GSM/UMTS/HSPA+/LTE
GSM/GPRS/EDGE quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
HSPA/UMTS quad-band 850/AWS/1900/2100 MHz
3G (850, 1900, 2100 MHz)
HSDPA 21, HSUPA 5.76

Re: T-mobile compatibility

This is the response I got from T-mobile on twitter regarding whether the dev edition will work --> T-Mobile USA ‏@TMobileHelp 19h
It looks like it should work in areas that have been refarmed, but it will not have the same coverage as a T-Mobile branded phone.

So I basically have to get the GPE if I want to attach to TMO on the WCDMA side (the PCS refarm hasn't really taken off over here). I was really hoping for a phone with all the UMTS and LTE bands. ALL OF THEM MUAHAHAHAHAHA.

Really REALLY lame of HTC for not having the Developer Edition support all the bands like the GPE. WTF

So for those of us who do not know the details of exactly what this means? Will the GPE be fully compatible with T-mobile and if not, what wont work?

thanks,
