HTC One (M8) Large data useage every day at 6:21AM

My new phone has a large data useage every day at 6:21 AM. I'm not even up at that time. I don't know what it's doing. How do I find out ?

Drag your finger down from the top of the home screen, and then click on the top right corner button with the head with dots underneath and to the side. Click on the settings button. There should be a spot under the Wireless and Networks that says Data Useage. If not click on the More with three dots to the left of it. Click on Data Usage and scroll down. You'll find a list of your apps and how much data they've used. When you find the one using up all the data click on it, scroll down, and put a check in the restrict background data box.
