HTC One M8 not taking picture of check in PNC mobile deposit

I have deposited checks via PNC Virtual Wallet before with my M8 but the last two attempts, the camera will not even snap the picture of my check. It just keeps focusing in and out. I have changed my camera settings (volume to snap picture, touch to snap picture) but apparently these settings do not apply when you are in the Virtual Wallet app trying to take a picture. Is anyone else having this problem and/or have a solution? I have sent an email into PNC Customer Service.

If the normal camera app works just fine i would think that maybe the issue is with the camera controls in the PNC app its self.
Its not much of a help but at least you will know if its an app or system wide issue. Might also check the play store feed back for the PNC app and see if other people with M8 units are having a similar issue.
