HTC One (M8) Shipping my device

So I finally placed the order to have my m8 shipped to HTC for the camera issue. My lense is all smeared, and I hope the warranty will cover it. Has anyone so far sent their device to HTC to solve a camera issue they were having, do you think it will be covered by warranty or will I have to dispute the quote? HTC made sending in the phone already a terrible process, I hope they don't make replacing it an even bigger one. Thanks
