HTC one M8 stuck in bootloop

Hi everyone.

I factory reset my HTC one M8 and now its stuck in a bootloop. doest go past the logo screen. The phone doesn't power off with pressing the power button. I have to do a hard reset holding power and volume up. I also cant get it to boot to bootloader.

Things I have tried

holding power and volume up till screen goes black then switching to volume down to try and kick start boot loader but just loads to HTC logo screen.

any help would be much appreciated

He connected the phone to the computer, downloaded Minimal ADB & Fastboot on the computer, and reset it through that program. Good luck!

it doesn't connect to the computer. nothing happens when i plug it into computer

It took him a lot of finagling to get it to connect. He spent a couple hours fussing with it.

I'm not sure, but you can probably find something online. It was so frustrating. I hope you get it working again.

He managed to get it into the boot menu. He thinks by pressing the power and down button.

Update: I have managed to get the phone to the screen with the red triangle and exclamation mark anyone any ideas how to sort this
