HTC One (M8): What is everyone using for cases?

I'll add my support for the Unicorn Beetle by SUPCASE. Good price, tight fit, looks cool, and the name is pretty rad.

I got that same case yesterday. It looks decent, but I don't like the way it feels. And the cutout for the headphone jack is too small for my heaphones and also the aux cable in my car. Neither one of them will fully seat, so it cuts out the left channel and activiates voice dialing if it is jiggled a little bit. So I'm looking for a new case to replace this one.

Amazon is freakin' amazing! I ordered the Otterbox Symmetry this morning before 10. I chose local express delivery, and it was at my doorstep a little after 7.
So far I'm liking it better than the Supcase.

I am currently switching between two cases. The first is one that I bought the day I got the phone (about 2 weeks ago), a Incipio DualPro. I really like the feel of the case, it fits well, just wish the cutouts for the camera and flash were separate and not one larger cutout.


The second case I am using is a Spigen Slim Armor. This case fits slightly better than the Incipio, especially since they have separate cut outs for the lower camera and the flash. This case doesn't feel as great as the Incipio, but I do like how it looks more like the phone without a case.


The Incipio catches a little more attention and feels better. Like the attention to detail that Spigen used on their case. Neither add much weight or bulk to the phone. Overall I like both cases and will use both regularly.

Does either one feel more confortable to hold than the other? And have you had any issues with the flash in low light conditions with either case?

Neither feel bad. I actually like how both feel. The Incipio is a little larger, but seems to have more resistance and less likely to slip out of your hand. The Spigen is a little slicker but is slightly smaller. And with the flash, I haven't noticed any issues. The one note about the Spigen, and it has been mentioned on here before, the IR doesn't work through the case. I don't use it, so not a big deal for me. It works fine with the Incipio.

I got one just like this from amcase. It is trash. The top and bottom of the black tpu part stick out away from the edge of the phone. And I hate that this part of the case is glossy.

Has anyone seen any TPU/plastic bumper cases??
All they have on eBay are the aluminum ones. But i think those will cause interference.

I had the dot view case but have since returned it as the cast would 1) not always close completely 2) flop open if not laying flat. If I placed the phone vertical with the volume button side upright, just left of 360 the case would flop open. Garbage design.

Does anyone have any recommendations for cases that have a fold over cover that STAY SHUT? Perhaps with magnets?

After trying about 4 different cases, I finally found what I was looking for. I wanted a thin, clear case to offer some protection but still show off the beauty of the phone. I also wanted a case that didn't cover the power button/IR blaster.

I came across this Griffin case on a popular auction website. I got it in 3 days, and it fits perfectly. It's semi flexible but hard on the back, with some grip on the sides. It is very thin and adds minimal weight/bulk. It is perfect!

That looks exactly what I was looking for, How's yours holding up? Do you still recommend it? Case-Mate cases are also something to consider.

I really want a case that can still show the great design this phone has, while providing some protection. I also ordered a Glass Screen Protector from Aliexpress to go along.

I have the Kayscase one. I like it a lot, EXCEPT that there's no real lip to lift/protect the screen when placed face down. I also have the Unicorn Beetle and like it way better. Would try the Spigen if I didn't use the IR blaster.

I always get a bunch of cases, I like to swap them out ever few days. I get bored easy. Here is the one I had so far. I like the Spigen ones but so far my favorite 3 are the 2 incipio and the black supcase. I'll post those 3 Cases as the last 3 pictures. I guess there's a limit how many pictures per post so I'll make a second post with just may favorites to date.

Of the cases I've gotten the clear ones from Supcase are nice. They are the more rigid clear plastic vs say the soft tpu that the Red Shield and I-Blason use. I like the harder plastic because they seem to fit the phone more snug and stay on good vs the soft tpu but that's more a personal preference. All 3 are pretty inexpensive. The UAG is a bit bulkier and not totally clear as you can see it has a pattern etched in the clear plastic but it feels like it adds far more protection than the others and also cost a lot more than the others.

I'd like to try some of the clear casemate ones people have posted next.

I ended up ordering 3 clear ones. They are cheap. I hope I can this way avoid having to pay 25 dollars for the Case-Mate Tough Naked, which seems the best known non bulky clear case (correct me if I'm wrong)
