HTC One M8 Wi-Fi handoff problem

[AC Question]

I have noticed that my HTC One M8 often has a problem handing off Wi-Fi from one 802.11g access point to another. I have channels 1, 6 and 11 set on the access points so there will be no overlap. But when I walk away from one access point into a room with another access point, the HTC One has a problem synching up with the new stronger access point. If I turn of Wi-Fi and turn it back on, the HTC One has no problem.

I don't have this problem with iPads or iPhones.

Any suggestions?

This is a long running issue with Android. It will get taken care of eventually but till then try Best WiFi on the app store. it has a settable level for the AP before it switches connections.
