spot on and many others agree, even on xda. i cant support a dying company who doesn't even want to try to help themselves.

But they ARE trying to help themselves if Verizon paid a lot for the exclusive.

I mean, my god. Two weeks. How will you EVER survive?

Fellow AT&T sales rep here. Not to call out the rep, but I doubt AT&T will have it in store to purchase tomorrow. We haven't recieved so much as a case or screen protector for the M8 yet, which are usually the first things that start coming in one by one in various shipments a week or so before release. Also we haven't had any training for the device, no mention of it anywhere. I wouldn't be totally suprised if the verizon exclusive rumors were right, at least the part about being able to purchase it in store. If they do have any availability, then I would expect them to start selling it online, because the stores would be horribly unprepared for it if they did decide to do a rush launch.

I haven't had one on a phone before but have on 3 different computers and all 3 do not work half the time so its not something I need or want.

Availability might not be exclusive but I can confirm VZW is not getting an actual black model at launch. Just silver and gray. The gold will also be exclusive to Best Buy for the time being for VZW. Of course I have no idea what other carriers are getting.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing.

I suspect that reviews will go live at 1PM EST as well... I can't imagine them releasing a phone to the public without reviews online haha
