Android Central Question

Hi,

Recently my HTCone m8 phone battery drained completely and it wont turn on after charging. It goes as far as " HTC One powered by android" screen.

After some searching , I tried other options like volume up + power etc. but of no use.

Finally, I came across this option to press volume down and enter this HBOOT screen which shows "LOCKED" at the top.

Now, I see the "FASTBOOT" option and in that it has a "REBOOT" option. I want to know if it fixes the issue without deleting my photos. I dont want to do a "FACTORY RESET" . Please advice.

If you have fastboot enabled and you don't disable it, it won't delete anything. But if you either enable it or disable it, it does a factory reset. rebooting doesn't reset anything.

(Besides, you should already have everything on the phone backed up.)
