HTC ONE MAX WITH S-PEN functionality through fingerprint scanner.
I was soooo looking forward to the HTC One max, and thought that they were going to implement S-Pen like features in their version of Sense. As photos of the phone leaked I noticed that there was no Stylus, but there was a fingerprint scanner, or thought maybe a touch pad. Then I thought HTC in a collection of mad scientist. So they have to be implementing the stylus hover over feature though use of the fingerprint scanner.
F**k was I wrong.
It would have been awesome. I thought it would be a no brainer.
Simply put all a user would have to do is hold a finger on the fingerprint scanner, and the phone enters stylus mode. Similar to taking out the S-Pen, but guess what, You wouldn't have to take out S**t!
Also since you have 5 fingers you can program different things to come up with different fingers that as held on the scanner. For example if you held a different finger, the phone would enter a multi window mode.
Anyways I'm sure you guys get the point. I know this can be done. I'm sure the Rom and hacking community could figure out how to do it gracefully by using some code that is similar to PIE, and Code similar to touchwiz.
However I would love you to whisper this into HTC's ear so they can turn their ship around. I want them to be around to keep innovating and keep other companies on their feet.
