Htc one mini 2 rebooting

Hi All,

I am a user of HTC One Mini 2 smart phone and it has started giving me problem. The device does not detect the sim card and keeps rebooting/restarting by itself again and again until the battery drains out fully. I have data on this device which I want to copy but cannot do so because of constant rebooting.

I did factory reset using external command power button and lower key of volume but still the device reboot over and over again till battery does goes off.

Please advice.

If you did a factory reset , you erased the data, but the device is over 6 year old so something is failing .
