HTC One Mini - Root/bootloader unlocking

My wife is getting a Mini on AT&T this week. Does anybody know if the root and S-off methods are the same as the standard HTC One?

I'm not 100% positive but I'm going to guess they probably are similar if not identical. I would obviously research this to get a solid answer and make sure you are using the proper REVONE (S OFF FILE) and any other necessary files that are specific to the Mini,
