HTC One: Screen wakes when charger connected.

Today I noticed when I connect my charger the screen wakes. It only wakes for approx' 3 seconds, then turns off, so it is not a big deal, but I am wondering why this is happening as it never happened before?

I stopped apps that I thought may be causing this, but it still happens.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

Are you running Android 4.3?

Has happened to me on 2.2, 2.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4.

Maybe you always plugged it in with the screen on, lol.

I'm pretty sure every time you plug your device on, the screen comes on.

My screen stays dark when I plug my phone in. I have the HTC One
