HTC One software update SERVER UNAVAILABLE ERROR

just got my htc one today, started using it about 30 minutes ago and when I went to software updates it searches for updates then gives me "SERVER UNAVAILABLE check for software update under settings when server is available" message..

i have been reading about people getting all these updates and stuff and yet mine is brand new today and i cant update anything..

what can I do?


I am on software number 1.26.502.10

Congratulations on your new One! Sometimes servers that are responsible for over-the-air updates go down temporarily, or are too busy handling tons of traffic, so you won't be able to access them. Try again tomorrow or the next day. If you're getting the same message 3-4 days in a row, then try calling your service provider's tech support line.
