so i finally got my htc one in the mail today after many years of loyal iphone use. i knew i would have to get a program to sync my music from itunes so i got Salling Media Sync. one big problem, i can not mount my phone to allow Salling to sync! some one help....i didnt know there would be this big of an issue with using my mac book. im already starting to loose faith in my decision to switch so help me regain it!

I used Google music manager. You can install app on your Mac and it works like iTunes match. Best part is that it is free.

Why not just use Google music? It syncs all your music from iTunes to your android device for free...no head aches I've been using their services on all my android devices.

I purchased iSyncr and it works like a charm. Syncs my iTunes and Htc One seamlessly. Came from an iPhone 5.

Google music and iSyncr are good options for dealing with your music collection and keeping it in sync between your phone and Mac. You may also consider Android File Transfer. It is an app available for your Mac that allows you to mount your One as an external drive to your Mac giving you free access to the internal folders and files allowing for drag and drop file transfer. This gives you the ability to move your music library, photos, videos or any other file from your Mac to your phone with ease. There is one caveat, if you have installed Htc Sync Manager on your Mac, you must uninstall it before using Android File Transfer, the two will not coexist. If you have installed Htc's Sync Manager program open the dmg installation folder and you will find an uninstall icon, use that to uninstall, dragging the program to the Mac trash will not properly remove this program. If you want to have a look at Android File Transfer for your Mac it is available here on Android Central, I use it regularly and it works great. Here is a link Android 101: The Android File Transfer app for Mac | Android Central

Hope this helps
