Hi All,

I have recently purchased a HTC One & am having issues streaming TuneIn Radio through my car's stereo via bluetooth.

Here's what I've com across:

- Music streams without a problem
- Randomly & inconsistently the TuneIn Radio will start streaming
- I can not for the life of me replicate what ever it is that gets TuneIn to stream over bluetooth
- Never had an issue streaming TuneIn Radio with iPhone 4 & 5
- Car is a 2012 Prado GXL
- The song that was playing in music player is still visible on the screen of the car stereo. Music player is closed, however, it still seems to have a lock on the Bluetooth stream. Has got me stumped how to fix!

Could this possibly be a firmware issue? on 4.1.2

I am new to Android & have searched extensively for a solution but am fast running out of luck. Any help would be really appreciated....

Thanks in advance

Mark

Sounds as if it could be a firmware issue in 4.1.2 causing conflicts with your head unit. Have you tried updating the BT's firmware on your head unit?

Hi Gator - no I haven't. I am not sure that I can as it is the stock head unit that comes with the car.

Apparently my carrier is pushing the 4.2.2 update later this month, hopefully that resolves the issue.

I have the exact same problem with TuneIn. Using HTC One Dev Edition, Android 4.1.2, and Jabra Drive bluetooth speaker.
