HTC One Voice Recorder

Just got the HTC One and can't find the Voice Recorder shortcut to activate the application. When I go to Settings>Apps>All, I see the Voice Recorder app is on the phone, but when I go to the app folder to add to a Home Screen there is no icon for Voice Recorder. What am I missing? Thx for the help!

I think you will find it built into the notes app. I don't appear to have a stand alone app for voice recorder.

Took a second look, yes found icon for voice recorder and can install on home screens!!

Go to Menu > Tools [Folder] > Voice Recorder.

Hmmm...maybe it's different on the Verizon version of the phone because it just simply isn't there. However, there is a voice record feature buried in the Notes app.

All HTC's are different, mine came wihtout the TV Sense and it's not a false device... Htc just losing me as a fan, getting back to Samsung. Still at 4.1.2 update too...

Hi, Verizon as well here. Found the voice recorder, but when i try to share it, it sends a blank .png file and not the actual sound file. The only way i can get it is to transfer it to my computer and mail it from there. So you know why this may be happening? Is there a setting I am missing?

Voice Recorder built in Notes is limited to 1 hr and 20 min. It is actually a count down from 1:20:00. Is there anyway to extend it?

On the Verizon One go to google now and search for "voice recorder" and you will get the real voice recorder app. Wierd thats the only way to get to it that I can find.

How can I have access to the audio files recorded through Notes on the HTC internal storage? I cannot seem to find them when I check the internal storage on my PC.
