Htc one warranty question.

Is the manufacturer warranty transferable on the one? I don't have insurance and I'm asking in case something happens to the phone.

I called and customer service told me nope it's only for the original purchaser of the device.

I called the guy selling and he said its transferable to anyone.

If the seller gave you the original purchase receipt, I don't see why HTC wouldn't honer the warranty. If you don't have it, I guess there's no way you can claim it.

They say it only applies to the initial buyer but I'm starting to have my doubts about htc and the one.

From my opinion Samsung might be a bit more reliable.
