HTC One X craycray battery drain

Hey all, I'm terrible at understanding things and new to android forums which is why I made a seperate thread for my noobself. So like the title says, my HTC one x's battery is draining at a craycray speed. I have no idea what's making it go so fast, I've tried too look for solutions but nothing has helped. I have this app called battery stats and it showed my battery life was at 6h, then after a few things like putting it to deep sleep it was at 8h, then after like half an hour it went down to 5h, and now my battery life is 3h.... I don't know whats going on ); help would much appreciated.

mine was draining at ridiculous speeds too. i hated my phone after updating to jellybean. battery life was GREAT until I updated!!! But i've been using Easy Battery Saver app for about a week now and it has made a difference in battery life.

So far I'm gonna have to say that this app is already amazing, even though its been like 10 minutes since I've installed it, because my battery would literally drop a percent per minute, and so far its been about 5 minutes and its still at the same percentage. Thank you soooo much!!

I rooted my HTC ONE X so I could install titanium backup and uninstall the system apps that were constantly running in the background. It has made such a difference. ^.^

Ahhh way too afraid to root my phone myself but thanks for sharing, may try it out if this app fails me
