HTC one X Sim Card Unavailable

My one x every once in a while would ask me to insert a Sim card. So I would remove it and place it back in. Worked fine. But a few days later started again.

Try removing the SIM tray and blowing the compartment out with canned compressed air. That's worked for me. You may have to repeat that cleaning again in a few months as, I'm thinking, the SIM tray tends to collect dust. Remember that the SIM compartments in most handsets are located in a well-protected area under the battery. Not so the One X.
