Hi,

Last night I went I clicked check for updates and the phone downloaded the update. I waited for something to say its installing the update but nothing happened so I figured it must've updated. I rebooted and nothing happend. I go to "check for updates" and now nothing happens. What gives?:'(

ok, so the fix for this was that I had unroot my phone then rolled the date back and all the updates started installing and rebooting as they normally would

My AT&T One X is still on 4.0.3. When I tap "check for updates", it checks for about 10 secs, then back to the settings screen. I don't receive a message about what happened or if I'm up to date, nothing.
This is a stock unrooted and unmodified One X, decided to hold off on rooting this one for a while.

Simuneer, what did you mean by "rolled the date back"? I tried manually changing the date to last year, but no results. When I restart the phone, it changes back automatically to current date even though the option to get the date automatically from the network is unchecked.

Any way to receive updates without rooting?

Also, where are the OTA files stored, just in case it has already downloaded them, maybe I can delete those files.

Thanks for your help.
