HTC ONE's camera for student (notes+texts)

Is the ONE's 4MP camera good enough for pictures of notes, texts from books and far away chalkboard boards?
At least at the same level of the previous gen 8MP phones?

btw I can't buy a S4 because I already ordered the ONE from ebay...

Notes, texts - yes, you just have to use "macro" mode for that. Far away chalkboards - depends on the distance and the room lighting, but you can always sit closer, can't you?

There is a setting called "text". It works very well.

Thanks that's a relief, however im not sure not sure if ill be always able to sit closer in big lectures halls but ill figure something out...
