HTC phablet still coming?

We'll finally find out today at 11AM EST. My guess is that you are correct about the 5" screen phone... I saw an article that rumored that it would be called One X[SUP]5[/SUP] or something like that.

In my opinion, it would make sense for HTC to release a Nexus-phone. Their current phones do not sell well at the moment, so it's the chance for the company to release a product that stands for the build quality of HTC and the software quality of Android.

So if that rumor is true, there should be unlocked versions for the playstore.

I think an HTC Nexus would look great if it were like this mock-up (essentially modified dIx):

Some will probably think it too aesthetically plain but I think it highlights the most important hardware feature of a modern smartphone...the display!

I like the sound of the specs, but not the fact that there won't be a removable battery or external sd-card slot. Was hoping for it all.
