I thought it was suppose to go from off to making a call in 12sec, when I turn mine on it takes 1 min or more

You have to have fastboot on.

ok I found it. Why not have this as a default? why do you have to check it to make it work.

I believe it affects the battery more. 1 min is 1 min to me, better than 3-4 min from my old Eris. (Love saying old Eris )

Because some apps don't work with it.

OK it worked for a night but now when I power it off and on it takes a 1 min again. Has this feature stopped for anyone else?

Takes forever for me and I do have FB checked.
