HTC Sense Home on M8

I've been messing with it and it looks like it includes the partial custom theming abilities of Sense 7, it'll install the app after you restart. But it doesn't work for 100% of Sense if you don't have Sense 7. So no, but hopefully it's coming soon.

The theme app is barely working for me. Not sure if its because the servers are being hammered with everyone who's just got it checking it out, or is very very buggy indeed! Like the idea though (if it works) enough to bring me back to sense home

I'm guessing it's due to the servers being hammered. I like the new look though, especially the app drawer.

The new app drawer is nice. I just wish I could get the Sense 7 weather clock widget. When my alarm goes off the Sense 7 weather widget appears on the lock screen but as soon as I dismiss the alarm it goes back to the old style widget. Oh well.

Still nice to see new features worked in though just an app update.

I also noticed in the App description it indicated that some of the features require Sense 7. Unfortunately, it looks like it left us with only one theme until we get Sense 7. I haven't figured out how to change it at all.

Look like when you open the new Theme app, in the drawer, many new themes and wallpapers come up. It takes a few seconds to load.Screenshot_2015-04-02-13-11-00.jpg

Just found that out, too. I was able to create my own theme, based on a photo I used for the wallpaper. Nice the way they pull colors from the photo to show up throughout the theme.

The app just says network error for me, can't get on it at all

Starting to work OK now.

Being on Sense 6, not all the elements work yet but I can tell you, Home Sense themes combined with Action Launcher 3 Pro's new theming engine work very well together. ;)

The Theme app is definitely designed for Sense 7. It doesn't really work all that well with Sense 6.

Does anyone have the app shortcut for it as I always need to go into playstore and view my apps to boot up the theme creator which is kinda annoying.

Themes is in the app drawer after todays Sense Home update. After it reboots your phone it should be there along with a different colored app drawer.

Ah I've found it thanks. I changed the icons so I didn't really notice it appearing there haha.

Just got the HTC Home update, and I only have the four default themes that doesn't seems to change anything, and I am feeling kinda blue about it.

Edit:-
Sorry my bad, I went to the Themes option in the Settings, I wasn't aware they made it a separate app.

I was hoping the themer would change the colors of the music app.. But it doesn't :(

Did HTC add sounds to the new version of Blinkfeed, or did I just not notice them before? I don't remember hearing a little insecty ka-chik sound before whenever I updated the BF Highlights or selected any one of my feeds to view only those posts.

And three thumbs up for the change to a bolder white font and to whateveryacall the new BF blue! Posts are way easier to read now. The skinny white font of old frequently disappeared too easily into both the old neongreen background and into any images lacking bold, deep colors. Mobetta blue! That's it!

It's great that HTC is doing this. We're getting a good taste of Sense 7 before we actually get it. Hopefully they're going to update all their apps soon.

It's a little bit annoying that the lock screen clock is italicized, but we still have the old non-italicized widget. I think that'll be coming in an update to HTC Weather though.
