Just updated. Still not sure exactly what it updated yet, though. Anybody else got any ideas?

I have the update available too, but I'm holding off until I find out what was changed. Points for bypassing carrier holdups, but deductions for not providing a change log or any idea of what they did.

I'd like to know too. But FWIW I updated my m8. I'm running stock rooted with a few common xposed modules and so far everything seems to be working.

It's Android. 4.4.3

nah, it ain't that. I've had Android 4.4.3 for a week or so now (HTC One M8 on Sprint got the rollout last week).
this has something to do with updating parts of Sense 6, more than likely, just not sure what was updated yet.

Would be nice if HTC would be a little more transparent...

Sent from my HTC One (M8).

It's Android 4.4.3 here's a screen shot of my device. I have an unlocked developer edition.

It's just setting things so they can update stuff without having to do a firmware update. Same reason they put the keyboard & clock in the store.

you must have your updates mixed up...i'll put this as simple as possible, though
i have no doubt that you got your 4.4.3 update today/this week
but that's not what the HTC Service Pack update was
Android 4.4.3 updates roll out to be downloaded from your phone's settings (when would be determined by whatever carrier you have or don't have...i have Sprint, I got 4.4.3 last week...you're unlocked, you got it this week)
meanwhile, the HTC Service Pack updates are downloaded through the Google Play Store
firmware updates aren't downloaded or installed through the Play Store, so it's not really possible for the HTC Service Pack update i made this thread about to be Android 4.4.3, especially since i've already HAD Android 4.4.3 for a week now
