Honestly, I have been eyeballin the TB for a while now, as the rest of you are, and this is a big concern for me. If I'm going to possibly purchase a "multimedia phone" like the TB, it would be an expectation to use whatever multimedia options that you use while charging the phone for obvious reasons. Especially if they put a kickstand, and the speakers underneath the kickstand, on the device. This only makes sense to be able to plug it in while using it in landscape mode.

When my second Desktop Charger broke for my BlackBerry Storm2 I just used a business card holder and it worked perfectly to position my phone to easily see a message indicator blinking or as a desk clock.

Also, not sure if any links have been posted or not for a micro USB right angle adapter, but here's one.

Some apps don't rotate to the right so the paper clip one isn't going to do any good.

I agree the USB port is placed in a horrible location. However it should'nt be an issue for me. I usually tend to watch movies while laying down so i could use the kickstand as a handle. But judging by the response of this thread i think i am in the minority.

Binder clips are pretty amazing if you arrange them correctly. The jack is in a pretty weird position, granted, but the kickstand is gonna be great for video calls.

no its a Verizon thing. i like the bionic location same side bit it is moved up. problem with that location is when you hold it it gets in the way.

Yea that screwed this one up big time. Isn't the charging port on the bottom of pretty much EVERY phone except this one? Probably not but still it took some real talent to put it where it is now.
And this is one of only TWO phones i'm aware of with a kickstand... I want to go check if Evo has a plug in left side too.
