About a week ago, I clicked on a link from Facebook and downloaded a PDF. The source of the PDF was trusted (a professional journal) and the PDF was legit. The problem is that now, that same PDF is downloading about 8 times a day with no input from me. I've tried deleting it, but it keeps being downloaded. This is eating up my data plan. A generalized search on google indicates that others are having this problem, too, but it seems to be rare. I'm headed to my Verizon store today for troubleshooting. In the meantime, any suggestions? I attempted the following:
I deleted all updates to Adobe Reader.
I deleted all updates to Kindle Reader.
I deleted all updates to Facebook.
I went into my browser's settings and cleared the cache, browser history, and browser cookies. Then I restarted the phone.
I went into Facebook settings to see if there was anything I could adjust, but nothing seemed to be applicable.
It is still downloading this same PDF about once every two hours. Again, this eating up my data plan, and has to stop.
Any help is appreciated.
