HTC Thunderbolt Slide?

Slider phones are thick by default so I don't see them feeling the need to put a slim battery in there.

They can't make phone's to fit everyone's personal wants and desire's. I'm sure they do focus groups and and get a pretty good cross section of what people want.

They are ticker by default, so putting an extended on an already thick phone just to get through the day would probably cause back problems for some people. I don't think HTC would want the added expense of those law suites.

If you want a key board on a phone you haven't bought yet, you might want to look into a plug in keyboard or a bluetooth keyboard? :D

When it comes to smartphones nowadays, there are three groups of users according to preferences.
1. Those who absolutely need a slider / physical keypad
2. Those who don't want any keypads at all
3. Those for whom it's not an issue or a deciding factor.

I belong to the second group and that is why I chose Thunderbolt (and DInc and Fascinate before that). If this phone had a slider, I would have stayed away from it.
