HTC U11 Camera not working

[Android Central Question]

Hi

I've unboxed my new HTC U11 and completed the wizard. When I tried to take a picture, the camera froze. After a few seconds, I end up at the home screen.
Does anyone experienced this issue, or knows how to solve the issue?
I've already cleared all cache and went back to factory defaults.
I'm considering to send it back as a Death On Arrival...

Start fresh-fresh and factory reset it. Also, there is a new software update pushing out now AND am update to the HTC Camera app itself. Make sure you get those updates after you hard reset.
