HTC Weather widget not updating location

yet another HTC problem that will never get fixed. ho hum.

I had that problem on my incredible and it didn't have gingerbread. I switched to Fancy Widget. Love it.

This problem comes and goes on my Bolt. It usually does it for a day or two and then fixes itself. I swear its at least partially a network issue with the way the network tells your phone where its at. Haven't had it yet with the latest GB release.

I tried multiple weather apps including BeWeather, WeatherBug, Accuweather, and The Weather Channel. They all report My Location as a place 100+ miles away. Google maps and Telenav accurately find me.

Seems to be a problem across different Android phone (Tbolt, DINC, DroidX). I wish there were a reliable workaround (Airplane mode off/on, Wifi off/on) but none of these "fixes" seem to work reliably.

If there were a Weather app that worked like Google Maps when looking for "my location" that could help.

Does any Tbolt owner have My Location working in a weather app?

Fancy Widgets is the best. Accurate even in my home location. The varied clock and weather skins are cool too
