HTC Weather Widget....

Hey, Having trouble with my HTC Weather Widget. It wont find my current location ( with GPS, WIFI. and location on) and keeps saying its in Petersville..... any thought? did this happen to anyone else?

It worked fine for me out of the box, although I've already installed Weatherbug Elite and use that instead of the pre-installed Weather app.

Same for me. It thinks I'm in New York. The Weather Channel widget works just fine.

Mine has been pretty inconsistent. All day at work today it was pretty accurate. Then when I got home, no matter how many times I refreshed it it would show as one town over. Conditions are wacky too. It was displaying sunshine at 9:00 until I refreshed it. I finally got it to update correctly by adding it to one of the home screens other than the main one.

yea, it wont find my location, when it does, it is a couple towns over, or NYC which is 5 hrs away, I want it to pick up my hometown, or does it just go to the closest city, because there aren't that many on the search list....

mine went in and out when not in service but it was pretty accurate

No issues here but I also set mine up manually by zip.

Last night my location changed to a city in Spain under my current location, though if I go into Google or maps it pin points my location where I currently am. Is anyone else having this problem or is there a fix for this?

Mine thinks I'm in Hautes-Pyrenees France this morning, when in actuality I'm in Rochester NY. Power cycling the phone didn't help, nor did turning location services off then back on. I keep GPS turned off. For the last couple of days, it's said I'm in Gazost.

Try deleting the weather clock widget and then replacing it.
