HTCone Mail stopped working

[Android Central Question]

Incoming mail is fine. When I try to send an email, it says "Mail Stopped Working"

Welcome to Android Central! Which HTC One model do you have? Try going to Settings>Apps, select the Mail app, and Clear Cache. If that doesn't work, and if you aren't using a POP3 mail account with important emails saved only to the phone, then also Clear Data.
